Have you bought a clear plastic ornament from Joann for Christmas? They look like this.

If you have, then they might be doing nothing starting January. It’s April now, and I have decided that they wouldn’t be just taking up storage space. So, equipped with a caliper, I designed a quick bauble cap to convert this ornament to be a propagation jar.



It’s a simple cap with 2 holes on the side where one can loop through a piece of string to hang the bauble. The cap has a hole on the top for the propagated cutting.
It was a very quick print and was very satisfying. Below pictures are before and after, taken at about less than a week apart. Roots can easily be observed less than a week after.
