About Us

We are

A couple of life partners who like to design, like fun things, and like to share our creations with others.

We design, prototype, and print all of our things from our home.

Printers

We make our prints and prototypes at home.

Flashforge Adventurer 3

150 mm x 150 mm x 150 mm build plate

Gotten as a birthday gift for her, this was a plug-and-play starter machine. Test print was done 15 minutes after unboxing and came with camera, network printing, easy leveling, and a fan. This printer is still currently in use, perfect for smaller prints.

Bambu Lab P1S

256 mm x 256 mm x 256 mm build plate

We decided that need a bigger build plate than our Flashforge’s. The faster print capability is nice, too. We didn’t order AMS with it but would be open to it in the future. We’d like to keep our filament waste down and are interested in making parts that are smarter for assembly for single-color machines instead of utilizing the AMS.

Things We Use

Filaments

We use mostly PLA or PLA+ currently, to keep our home safe. We created the Filaments page where we list all we used and what we think about them.

Build Plate Glue

This is mostly used for our Flashforge Adventurer 3 when we have larger prints. We really like Elmer’s Washable School Glue Sticks. They washes off with hand- / dish soap and water, on both the build plate and the models.

PLA Glue

We like using Loctite Super Glue Easy Squeeze Gel, 0.14oz, especially it has a rather small applicator that allows detail targeting.

Crafting Tools

To remove leftover support or artifacts from the non-flexible build plate, we use multiple things such as a crafting heat gun, a picking tool, and a plastic scraper. The crafting heat gun can also be used to remove strings on the models if we have any.

Licenses of Our Models

We like simplicity. We offer models with free private use, or paid commercial.
